It systematically examines energy use to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce consumption. Our energy consultant Daniel Griesenbeck guided us through the process and has now presented us with the certificate. Thank you for your support!<\/p>\n<p>For us, sustainability and sound business decisions go hand in hand. Especially in challenging times, identifying potential savings and making efficient use of resources helps us continue to deliver quality Made in Germany and secure the long-term future of our production site in Altena.<\/p>\n<p><u>Using energy wisely \u2013 securing our future in Germany<\/u><\/p>\n<p>At addi, acting sustainably means continually reviewing and improving our products and processes. This includes taking a close look at our energy consumption. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve carried out an energy audit in accordance with DIN EN 16247. Our energy consultant Daniel Griesenbeck guided us through the process and has now personally presented us with the certificate. We sincerely thank him for his expert support!<\/p>\n<p>An energy audit systematically examines how energy is used within a company and where savings may be possible. Buildings, equipment and systems are assessed to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce consumption.<\/p>\n<p><u>Responsibility for resources and our production site<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Using energy wisely combines environmental responsibility with sound business practice. In a challenging economic environment, making efficient use of available resources and reducing avoidable costs is essential. The audit provides a solid basis for assessing potential improvements and planning our next steps.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal is clear: to continue manufacturing high-quality knitting needles and crochet hooks Made in Germany. Efficient production helps us remain competitive, secure the long-term future of our Altena site and contribute to Germany\u2019s strength as a place to manufacture and do business.<\/p>\n<p><u>Sustainability as an ongoing commitment<\/u><\/p>\n<p>The energy audit builds on our existing involvement in \u00d6KOPROFIT. Through this programme, we regularly explore opportunities for improvement, review measures already implemented and develop new approaches to using resources responsibly.<\/p>\n<p>For us, sustainability is part of our everyday work.
