How it works
Crochet a chunky round cushion
Crochet in spiral rounds using colour 1 (multi colour).
- Round 1: Using colour 1, crochet into a magic ring: 6 single crochets.
-
From now on, only crochet into the back loop of each stitch.
-
Round 2: 2 single crochets into each stitch [= 12 stitches].
-
Round 3: alternate (1 single crochet into the next stitch, 2 single crochets into the next stitch) until the end of the round [= 18 stitches].
-
Round 4 alternate (1 single crochet in each of the next 2 stitches, 2 single crochets in the next stitch) until the end of the round [= 24 stitches].
Change to colour 2 (single colour). Now crochet into both loops.
- Round 5 crochet 1 single crochet into each single crochet [= 24 stitches].
-
Round 6 alternate (2 single crochets together, 1 single crochet) until the end of the round [= 18 stitches].
-
Round 7 crochet alternately (2 single crochets together, 1 single crochet) until the end of the round [= 12 stitches]. Do not cut the yarn!
-
At this point, sew the beginning and ending threads on the inside with your fingers. Now you can fill the cushion a little with a ready-made round cushion or stuffing material if necessary.
-
Round 8 2 single crochets together until the end of the round [= 6 stitches].
-
Cut the thread and pull it through the last stitch. Thread the thread through the last 6 stitches and pull tight. Sew the thread with your fingers.
Have fun with crocheting!
