Our olive wood needles are made of high quality olive wood in many steps, partly by hand. Therefore, we attach particular importance to durable and high-quality materials.
The wood for our needles comes from very old olive trees that are no longer bearing and carries a long history.
Combined with high-quality materials, this creates a needle that feels wonderfully light and warm, and is also beautiful to look at.
Finishing with high quality oil and wax
The needles are refined with a natural, vegetable oil and finished with organic wax. In the process, the wax is baked on, ensuring a durable surface that lasts much longer than with a coating applied only superficially.
The very wood of the olive tree, due to its hardness, allows very fine and long lace, comparable to our Lace lace.
The perfect material for every season
Olive wood is a very quiet and pleasant material to knit with. Whether in summer with wet hands or in winter with cold hands - the hand-warm olive wood with its open-pored surface can absorb and release moisture. So it never feels too cold or warm. Moreover, the natural surface does not dazzle.
