As soon as you have a nice crochet yarn and a matching crochet hook, you can start working through the instructions. To crochet according to the instructions, you basically need: crochet hooks, wool, sewing needle, scissors and optional stitch markers. For beginners, a rather thick, smooth yarn is recommended so that the stitches can be easily seen. The needle is used to sew the threads. It is characterised by a blunt point and a large eye. At the latest when the crochet project is finished, you need scissors to cut the thread. A small pair of needlework scissors like our Goldmarie is very helpful. For some crochet projects, certain stitches need to be marked with a special stitch marker. Alternatively, you can use a different coloured thread, a paper clip or a hairpin.
