Tips addiEgg
Several thousand are sold and there are already first feedbacks to us. Many happy customers post examples of their work in blogs and social media. But there are also questions because some customers do not get along with the addiEgg immediately.
The most important thing is that the instructions for use are followed exactly. For example, the knitting results are not satisfactory if the transparent lid is not placed on the egg when cranking, as it ensures that the yarn runs in straight.
In addition, a not too strong tension of the incoming yarn and the recommended yarn thicknesses must be observed.
Cranking without hanging the weight does not work at all.
The result is of course also different from the wool. Well twisted wool as for example 6-fold sock wool brings always nice results. With some yarns, it also helps if you increase the weight at the cord, e.g. with clothes pegs or tablecloth weights. Then even fluffy wool can be knitted.
Some customers have problems with the crank because it supposedly loosens easily. Here a firm pressure helps when inserting the crank – and already the problem is solved.
We are working on further tips and tricks and on nice instructions and wish all addi fans a lot of fun with the addiEgg.
