A creative time-out
Cranking workshop with AG Miteinander Elspe and addiExpress in October 2024 - an evening of cranking, cranking and more cranking.
Gemeint ist damit, dass auf den Strickmaschinen addiExpress gekurbelt wurde und zwar auf 20 Maschinen und das für fast 3 Stunden.

Norman Ullrich, Sales Manager at addi, is one of the volunteers. His idea of spending an evening cranking hats, scarves and small accessories on the addiExpress machines with the disabled was very well received. Not only with the volunteers of the working group, but also with their colleagues at addi.
So everything was packed up and taken to Elspe in the Sauerland. addiExpress knitting machines large and small, donated wool from Lang, Prolana and Wooly Hugs, as well as filling material and instructions.
The volunteers set up the machines the evening before the event and, unsurprisingly, the first loops and headbands were already jumping off the machines that evening. It had to be tested.
The disabled people then showed great commitment, patience as angels when cranking and great taste when choosing yarn. In the end, around 40-50 hats, headbands, pumpkins, door snakes and loops were finished that evening and everyone had great fun and a great sense of achievement. Thanks to the support of the addi people, small mistakes were quickly crocheted away and hats that were a little too big were quickly turned into pointed hats with pompoms from the addi pompoms, which are worn with pleasure and pride.
A great commitment by the volunteers from AG Miteinader Elspeand a very nice idea from our sales manager Norman Ullrich and a special evening for the families and for the 7 addi employees.
