Back in 2016, addi installed a completely new electroplating system to produce nickel-free needles. The finish is now white bronze instead of nickel. The new coating is an anti-allergenic, highly functional alternative.
With the white bronze needles in the rebuilt electroplating plant, addi has made a further statement for production in Germany. The process is fully automatic and the in-house test facility for coating thickness measurement and bath analysis guarantees addi customers the best quality we can produce for them in Germany. The needles are still very smooth.
