addiClick SOS cord - simply pull safety lines and threads into the work.

The SOS cord has a slot that allows you to thread a yarn into the cord and simply pull it through the stitches while knitting or crocheting.

For example, you can pull in lifelines with a contrast yarn in large and challenging knits to easily and safely unknit a piece if you make a mistake. Drawing in variegated yarns for effect in knitting or crochet are also possible.

 

Compatible with addiClick

The red SOS cords are compatible with all addiClick needles and accessories. Whether for knitting needle cases or crochet hook tips.

The addiClick SOS cords from 60 cm are the ideal accessories for all addiClick tips. The red ropes with slit and silver-colored end pieces are standard in every addiClick Lace Long as well as the addiClick by Woolly Hugs Case included. Two cords can connected if necessary via a connector with one another - for extra large knitting projects, to try on the knitted fabric once in between or to transfer stitches to another cord.

Without additional tools such as screws or spanners, the tips and cords can be connected to each other simply by turning and clicking. The addiClick connection holds securely after clicking into place - the typical "click" - and loosening during knitting is prevented.

The cord length indicates the total length of the knitting needle with tips (125 mm each), as with a fixed circular knitting needle. Therefore, the cord length with short tips (90 mm each) is slightly shorter than the value and without tip is the cord length:

  • 60 cm cord = 35 cm cord length
  • 80 cm cord = 55 cm cord length
  • 100 cm cord = 75 cm cord length
  • 120 cm cord = 95 cm cord length
