Hot, we would cut them through, the diameter of the circle would make the measurement. Since the circumference of a circle at the same diameter is larger than that of a square, the addiNovel should always be chosen in the next higher needle size. For example, if the instructions say that a 3.0mm needle should be used, we recommend using a 3.5mm addiNovel. This will be especially appreciated by those who often have to use very small needle sizes due to a very loose knitting pattern. Please note that this is a recommendation based on the experience of many knitters. But in the end it depends on your own technique.
