Crank the scarf
- Set the machine to “plain knitting” mode
- Cast on 28 sts with waste yarn and work 6 rows.
Tip: The row counter only counts every second row in straight knitting mode.
- Then switch to the main yarn.
- To do this, cut the thread from the waste yarn at the end of the row and hang it in the machine. Attach the new yarn and let the beginning thread hang in the machine as well (do not knot the threads).
- Set the row counter back to 0.
- Crank 308 rows with the main yarn.
-
Then work another 6 rows in the waste yarn (without knotting the ends).
-
Then bind off the knitted fabric. Crank 2 rows without yarn in the thread guide.
