How it works
Colorful crochet wig
First, a hairnet is crocheted for the wig in rounds with crochet hook 2.5mm / U.S. C, which is closed with a sl st.
Each round starts with two starting chains (which stand as a substitute for the 1st dc of the new round). The hairnet is made for a head circumference of approx. 56-58 cm (22-22.8″). For bigger heads, you crochet more stitches accordingly. Please note, however, that the hairnet should sit quite tight on the head so that the wig doesn’t just slip out of place later.

Secure curls
Secure the curls at the hairnet
Distribution:
- First tie the longest curls firmly into the small spaces of the lower round at the back of the neck, then sew the strands to the inside of the hairnet.
- The closer you get to the sides and bangs of the hairstyle, the shorter your curls will be. Then the shortest ones for the pony .
- After the 1st round is completed, you attach more curls according to the same scheme in the 4th ch-space round (= 2nd curl round) from below.
- Then set the curls in every 3rd round of ch-spaces for 3 more times, always arranging the curls slightly offset
You can work the curls to the length you want and put them together to create your desired hairstyle.
Just put on the hair net with the curls in between and try out how you like the hairstyle best. You can also make the curls tighter, but then you will need more yarn.
- After the 1st round has been fitted, attach further curls according to the same pattern in the 4th box round (= 2nd curl round) from the bottom.
-
Then set the curls 3 x in every other 3rd box round, always arranging the curls slightly offset.
-
You can work the curls in desired lengths according to your taste and create your desired hairstyle.
