Echo Sweater Herrenpullover
This timeless men's jumper is knitted in separate pieces from the bottom up and sewn together at the end.
A pattern by Scheepjes, knitted using Scheepjes Woolwise yarn.

Using 3.75mm needles, cast on 110 (122: 134: 146: 158: 170) sts.
- Rd 1: 1 (RS) K2, (p2, k2) to end.
- Rd 2: 2 (WS) P2, (k2, p2) to end.
These 2 rows form rib.
- Work in rib a further 16 (16: 18: 18: 20: 20) more rows.
- Change to 4mm needles.
- Beg with a k row, work 164 (170: 174: 180: 184: 192) rows in st st, ending with a WS row.
Marking for the back neckline
- Divide for Back Neck and Shoulders Next row (RS) K37 (42: 47: 52: 57: 62), skpo, turn and work on these 38 (43: 48: 53: 58: 63) sts for first side of neck shaping, leaving unworked sts on holder.
Shape Right Back Neck and Shoulder
- Rd 3 (RR): P2tog tbl, p to end. [1 st dec]
- Rd 4 (HR): K to last 2 sts, skpo. [1 st dec]

Shape Right Shoulder

Nackband
- Sew up the right shoulder seam.
- With the right side facing outwards and using 3.75 mm needles, pick up 22 sts from the left front neckline, knit 28 (30: 32: 34: 36: 38) sts from the front gathered section,
- Pick up 22 sts from the right front neckline, pick up 11 sts from the right back neckline, knit 32 (34: 36: 38: 40: 42) sts from the back gathered section,

- Rib row 1 (RS) P2, (k2, p2) to end.
- Rib row 2 (RR) K2, (p2, k2) to end.
- These 2 rows form rib.

- Work 2 more rows in rib.
- Cast off in rib.
Finishing
- Join left shoulder and Neckband seam.
- Place marker 56 (60: 64: 68: 72: 76) rows down from shoulder on each side of both Back and Front.
- Matching centre of sleeve cast-off edge to shoulder seam, sew in sleeves between sm.
- Join side and Sleeve seams.
- Weave in all ends and block to measurements.
Finishing
- Join left shoulder and Neckband seam.
- Place marker 56 (60: 64: 68: 72: 76) rows down from shoulder on each side of both Back and Front.
- Matching centre of sleeve cast-off edge to shoulder seam, sew in sleeves between sm.
- Join side and Sleeve seams.
- Weave in all ends and block to measurements.
