Granny Square „Kreis“ häkeln
A simple granny square that balances round and square. The Granny Squares can be combined to make large objects, such as bags, blankets and many other accessories.
- Any yarn in 2 colors of your choice. We’ve used for our example:
- essentials organic cotton dk by Rico Design (100% cotton, 105m/50g – 115yd/1.76oz)
- addiNature olive wood crochet hook 3,5mm/U.S. 4

How it works:
The granny square is crocheted in two colors in rounds. You start with the first color in the middle working a circle. When this is finished, you complete your work and put on the new thread in the second color to make a square out of the circle.
