Christmas stocking crochet
Crocheting a Christmas stocking is not difficult at all. Filling the self-crocheted stocking afterwards is even more fun! Thanks to thick textile yarn, the boot is crocheted quickly and is particularly sturdy to be filled to the brim.

addi crochet hook with matching needle size to the yarn,

How it works

Sole:
Note: In order to achieve a nice, uniform stitch pattern, work this project with the so-called knit stitch. You do not stitch into the stitches as usual, but into the V. This applies to the entire pattern.
- Round 1: Ch 9 . Now work along the ch: skip the 1st ch, sc 7, 3 dc in the last ch, turn the work 180° and continue working on the back of the ch: sc 7, 2 dc in the last ch = [=19 sts].

Round 2: 2 sc in the following st, sc 4, dc 2, 2 dc in the following st, 3 dc in the following st, 2 dc in the following st, dc 2, sc 5, 2 dc in each of the last 2 sts [= 26 sts].

Round 3: 1 sc in each st of the round [= 26 sts].

Round 4 1 sl st in each st of the round [= 26 sts].
Cut yarn and weave in ends .

- Round 1: 1 sc BLO in each st [= 26 sts].

Round 2: 1 sc in each st [= 26 sts].

Round 3: sc 9, 4 x dc2tog), sc 9 [= 22 sts].

Round 4 sc 8, 2 x dc3tog, sc 8 [= 18 sts].

Round 5 1 sc in each st [= 18 sts].

Round 6 2 sc in following st, sc 8, 2 sc in following st, sc 8 [= 20 sts].

Round 7-12: 1 sc in each st [= 20 sts].
Change to contrasting color.
- Round 13: (sc 1, 1 spike stitch = make an sc into the st 1 round below) rep to the end [=20 sts].

Round 14: 1 sl st in each st of round [= 20 sts].
Cut the yarn. Weave in all ends on the inside. Decorate with snowflake stickers if desired.



Boots:
