With the limited edition addiCraSySnake Charity we are combining a special needle with a special project: supporting the sock worldrecordassociation. Together, we want to inspire knitters to knit socks – and at the same time help to make a big difference.

addi is supporting the world record project alongside the charity needle fundraising campaign with activities related to sock knitting and promotion. The aim is to collect as many hand-knitted socks as possible.
Clothespins can also be sent along with each donated sock. After all, 72,000 clothespins are needed for the 5-kilometer-long clothesline!
The initiators of the sock world record campaign are bookseller Miriam Cahannes, successful author Veronika Hug, and bestselling author Susanne Oswald and her husband Bernd Oswald.
They want to break the current record of 35,500 hand-knitted socks on a clothesline .
After the event, the socks will be donated to cold weather buses, aid buses, and stationary aid stations in Germany and similar institutions in Switzerland.
Knitting takes on a new meaning – every stitch counts, every sock provides warmth and hope.

Design your own “world record sock set” and sell it to your customers – the “sock world record logo” and the “Der kleine Strickladen” label, as well as a participation card for everyone who submits socks, are available for download. - Bookstores
Make yourself available as a collection point for knitted socks and become part of the world record. Perhaps you could also work with a trusted wool retailer and offer sock sets. Sell the world record sock book in your store and draw your customers' attention to the world record attempt with flyers and posters. - Private individuals
