Crank Wall tattoo with the addiEi
A plastic wall tattoo made from a knitted cord turns the wall into a real eye-catcher. Simply turn the crank, fill the cord with wire and bend it loose.

What you need:
- 2 balls Touring Superwash (100 m/50 g)
- Lang Yarns, 75% virgin wool/ 25% polyamide
- addiEi mini knitting machine
- 1 roll aluminium wire 2 mm thick
- Computer or photocopier
- Coarse embroidery needle without tip e.g. addiLoop
- Scissors
- Side cutter

- Knit all balls with the addiEi
- Sew the tubes together in a stitch (length of the tube approx. 300 cm).

Step 2
Bend the shape
Bend the beginning of the wire into a loop so that the wire can be easily inserted into the tube.
- Pull the knitted tube onto the wire without tension
- Bend the motif freely or according to one of the templates
Tip: Simply download one of the templates from the link below, print it out 1:1 and select a shape
or simply bend it to create your own motif.
At the cross points of the graphic or your own motif, sew the wire and the stretched tube together.

At the beginning and end of the graphic, bend the wire slightly to prevent it from slipping back into the tube.
Hang the finished graphic on several nails (3-5 pieces) on a wall. Done!
