Family business, now in its 6th generation, with more than 120 employees in the middle of the green heart of NRW, in Altena. This is where innovation meets tradition. Because even though the people at our company have both feet on the ground, our heads often disappear between the clouds - because that's how we've been finding ideas for new products and solutions to bring them successfully to market since 1829.
In our valley we produce knitting and crochet needles of the highest quality under the brand name "addi" and ship them to customers in 59 different countries - we therefore feel quite globalised when we can speak english, french or turkish with clients and offer various translations.

A new addition to our addi family of companies:
For us, our employees and colleagues are simply part of the company family. Of course, we are always happy when this family grows. Training and promoting junior staff is very important to us. That's why we have been successfully training young people at addi for decades.
Also for a Dual study or a Student trainee we are open. The difference? As a working student, you have paid employment alongside your studies, whereas with a dual study programme, you complete an in-company apprenticeship on the side. Study phases and vocational training are interlinked both in terms of time and content.
If the end of your studies is already in sight, we will be happy to support you with your Bachelor or Master thesis. Just talk to us.
Also Internships are possible with us - whether voluntary or as part of a training or further education programme.
