The dual training lasts a total of three years. You will go through various departments of our administration and thus gain a broad spectrum of knowledge. There is a lot to see. In the course of your training, the demands of your tasks increase and your area of responsibility expands continuously. During your time with us, you will acquire all the essential theoretical knowledge at vocational school.

If you are already considering a specialisation during your training period, it is possible to supplement your training as an industrial clerk with an additional EU supplementary qualification. This includes extended English lessons and learning another foreign language. You will also become familiar with international business topics and have the opportunity to complete a work placement in an EU country.

addi / Selter is a successful family-run business employing around 120 staff in Sauerland, the green heart of NRW. Here, innovation meets tradition. - Material procurement and storage: In materials management, you compare offers in order to negotiate them with suppliers.
- Production of goods and services: When it comes to the production of goods and services, it is your job to plan, control and monitor these processes.
- Sales: As soon as you get into sales, your tasks are to contact customers, evaluate the enquiries and from this to prepare offers and to continue to support the customer after the purchase in order to achieve customer loyalty.
- Marketing: If you work in the marketing department, the entire spectrum of a marketer is part of your tasks: Analysis of the market, customer interests and the competition. External and internal communication to market the product. Planning, presentation and market launch of products.
- Accounting: If you work in the areas of accounting or finance, you process, book and control the transactions that occur in business transactions.
