As an industrial mechanic, you organise and monitor production processes and ensure that machinery and manufacturing equipment are in working order. As part of our team, you’ll take on responsibility early on and receive support as you continue to develop personally.

addi, or rather the Selter company, is a successful family-run business with more than 100 employees, situated in the lush heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Sauerland. What you will learn with us:
- Inspect, maintain and service equipment;
manufacture and adapt components using a combination of different manufacturing processes - Maintain, inspect and repair machinery and systems; apply operational quality assurance systems within one’s own area of work; and select testing procedures and test equipment
- Assessing material properties and selecting materials according to their intended use
- Metalworking using tools and machinery – including turning, welding, drilling, milling and sawing.
What you should bring along:
- Lower Secondary School Certificate / Mittlere Reife or equivalent qualification
- An interest in science subjects such as
Mathematik, Physik und Technik - Manual dexterity
- Teamwork
- Enthusiasm for working in an innovative
