All year round, we at addi work on manufacturing our products in the highest quality – Made in Germany – optimizing them and developing new innovations.
Once a year, the time has come and we present our new products in the spring as part of the h+h cologne trade fair. Here the addi team is very excited every year. What is particularly well received and what feedback do we get from our partners?
Before the trade fair we prepare everything – produce the first sample needles or prototypes, print catalogues with all the novelties and design the trade fair stand. then the show starts.

addiCraSyTrio Unicorn
With us unicorns do not exist only in the fantasy world of our customers. The addiUnicorn circular knitting needle newly introduced last year. Many customers asked for it and so we added the precious, spiral structure and the shiny surface to two of our well-known product families.
The addiCraSyTrio Unicorn needles with a Lace and a Basic tip are available in the sizes 2.0 – 5.0 mm. With a length of 30 cm they are perfect for knitting small diameters like hats, sleeves or socks.
Expected delivery to the trade end of June 2023

A colorful highlight of the fair was the new addiClick Unicorn – interchangeable Unicorn knitting needles with the popular and patented addiClick lock. Changing needles works without any tools.
The spiral shaped addiClick Unicorn Lace Long tips are organized in a pink textile case with fancy interior.The case contains 8 pairs of lace tips from 3.5 – 8.0 mm, 1 coupling, 3 pink cords, an addiGrip gripping aid and a Unicorn pin.

The ring, made of 925 sterling silver in a manufactory in Altena, offers a unique symbiosis of a practical needlework accessory and a precious piece of jewelry. Our employees at the booth did not want to put it down.
The ring is currently available in sizes S/52, M/54 and L/56. Thanks to the open design, it can be optimally adjusted to the respective finger and thus fits perfectly on the finger – whether for two-thread knitting or simply as a beautiful piece of jewelry.

In response to many customer requests, we have further developed the addiNovel Quintet double-pointed needles. Now each needle is made from a single brass tube – so no transition in the middle. Yeah!
Thanks to the square Novel structure, these sock needles have a pleasant feel and create a very even stitch pattern.
addiNovel Quintett is available in thicknesses from 2.0 to 6.0 mm with lace tips on both sides.

In response to many customer requests, we have further developed the addiNovel Quintet double-pointed needles. Now each needle is made from a single brass tube – so no transition in the middle. Yeah!
Thanks to the square Novel structure, these sock needles have a pleasant feel and create a very even stitch pattern.

The perfect base for knitting or crocheting baskets, bags or trays offer the new basket bases addiShapes. They are made of birch wood in Europe and are characterized by special quality and stability.

We expect to start supplying our wholesale and retail customers with the new products in July/ August. Only then will they be available in retail handicrafts stores and online stores. If you express your interest there already now, you will help the retailers with their planning.
After the show is before the show. Inspired by the feedback of our customers, by new contacts and by new trends we have back in Altena already soooo many new ideas on which we will now tinker for a year for you.
We are already looking forward to h+h 2024.
