The interchangeable addiClick system

The addiClick system features interchangeable cords and needle tips for Tunisian crochet, knooking and knitting. Without additional tools, the tips and cords can be connected to each other simply by turning and clicking. The connection holds securely once it has clicked into place – the typical “click” – and loosening during knitting is prevented.

Cords and needle tips are perfectly matched: The plug-in connection creates an even transition between needle and cord for even knitting, crocheting and knooking fun.
Since all needles in the addiClick family are equipped with the same connection, they can be cheerfully combined, interchanged and even changed quickly and easily in the middle of a project. Tunisian crochet and knitted rows within the same project, a smaller needle size for the otherwise too loose left back rows, stitches on a cord set-aside and using the same needle tips for the next pieces – all this and much more is possible with addiClick.

With their new modern textile structure, the cases for the individual addiClick sets already show from the outside what is inside: Olive green, for example, stands for the olive wood needles, blue hides the Novel sets and the light green cases protect bamboo needle tips for knitting or crocheting. Packaged in such a high-quality way, the cases are particularly suitable as a gift for needlework fans or for yourself and are a safe place for your favourite needlework tools not only when you are on the move, but also at home.

All addiClick sets contain two connectors - one short and one long. With them, addiClick cords can be easily closed to a round and tried on.

As knitting is usually carried out on a slightly shorter cord than the diameter of the knitted piece, another cord can be securely connected to the one in the knitted piece and pulled in to try it on. The subsequent fit can already be tested wonderfully.

The short connector also works well for sleeves with small diameters. It can also be used to close and attach 30-50 cm long cords.

Tip: The needle tips can be replaced with addiHeartstoppers so that no stitches are lost when trying on flat knitted pieces. The stitch stoppers ensure that all stitches remain securely on the cord.

Styling and trying on sleeves and small diameters is simply much easier with the click system.

Knitting needles, knitting technique and yarn should be coordinated to provide a pleasant knitting experience. Not every yarn can be knitted equally well with every needle material and every needle type. 

We recommend knitting very fine and thin yarns such as yak, silk, mohair and similar, thinner than 200 m / 50 g with fixed circular knitting needles, as these yarns can get caught on the minimally noticeable transition with the addiClick system.
