Make hats in different sizes with addiExpress:
With the addiExpress Kingsize knitting machine, you can make complete hats for children and adults with a head size of 50-56 cm head circumference (instructions at the end of the tutorial).
Winding and hand knitting can be easily combined for larger or smaller heads. A hand-knitted ribbed cuff, for which additional stitches are picked up, creates hats for babies and children or for a larger head circumference.
Different sizes:
- Yellow hat (size L), yarn quantity 100 g (3.5 oz), head circumference 52 - 58 cm (20“-23“)

Simply winding hats completely up to size M
With a stretchy yarn (wool fibres) of 80-110 m/ 50 g, you can easily wind a full hat for children and adults with a head circumference of 50-56 cm.
Important for a good fit:
- Nutzen Sie ein leicht dehnbares Garn (Wollgarne wie Merino oder Stretch-Garne)
- Halten Sie den Faden locker. Eine hohe Fadenspannung macht das gekurbelte Strickstück enger
- Good running yarn qualities for addiExpress can be found in the yarn chart.
