Cross-knit baby summer sweater
Simply knit crosswise. This colorful cotton sweater for babies is ideal for the transitional season and can be knitted in beautiful color gradients. A pattern from Lang Yarns.

What you need:
- 2 balls of Lang Yarns Quattro Degrade (240m/ 100g// 260 yd/ 3.6 oz) (100% cotton), colour 13
- addi circular knitting needle 4,0 mm (US 6) e.g. addiNature Bamboo
- Wool needle
- Scissors

- 62 = 3 month
- 68 = 6 month
- 74 = 9 month
- 80 = 12 month
Dimensions:
- Bust size: 52/56/60/64 cm // 20/22/23.5/25"

Front
- Cast on: 52/56/60/64 sts, needle 4 mm.

Knit in garter stitch.
Sleeve attachments:
- At 15/16/18/20 cm from the cast on work on both sides:

Every second round cast on 1x1 stitch (sts), 1x2 sts, 1x3 sts and 1x 32/32/34/34 more sts for the sleeves = 128/132/140/144 sts.
Neckline:
- Bind of the middle 12/12/16/16 sts at 22,5/24/26,5/29 cm from cast on edge.

Bind off 2x2 sts and 2x1 sts every 2nd round (see important tip).

At 4 cm neckline height, leave the remaining 52/54/56/58 sts.
Tip: Also knit the edge stitch in the pattern and only sew a half edge when assemble.
Back
- Pull the remaining 52/54/56/58 sts on a needle.

Cast on 24/24/28/28 sts additional for the neckline = 128/132/140/144 M.

Knit in garter stitch.

At 7,5/8/8,5/9 cm from the beginning of the back section bind off 1x32/32/34/34 sts at each side.

Continue to bind off 1x3 sts, 1x2 sts and 1x1 sts every 2nd row = 52/56/60/64 sts.

Start to bind off all sts of the back at 26,5/28/30,5/33 cm from the beginning of the back.
Finishing
Sew seams.
Neckline:
- Pick up with a circular needle approx. 55/59/63/67 sts (Front = 31/33/35/37 sts, Back = 24/26/28/30 sts).

Purl one round and bin off loosely.
