Knit Summer Shirt "Limone"
A breezy tutorial for a raglan summer shirt in combination with a light and airy cotton yarn with cooling and pleasant wearing properties. Perfect for warm days.
The instructions are customisable and can be knitted as a shirt or jumper of any length.
- 4-5 balls of "Limone" from Schoeller Stahl (50g/125m)
- 100% cotton, mercerised, Oekotex Standard 100
- Model colour: 108 pink
- addiUnicorn circular knitting needle 4 mm/100 cm

Gauge: 20 sts × 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 mm, plain in rnd).

Waistband pattern:
- 2 sts right, 2 sts purl in alternation

Knit Raglan Summer Shirt
The model is started as a raglan from the top and knitted in rounds.
- Cast on 120 sts and join to round
Keep to the exact stitch gauge! (If necessary, change needle)
- Mark the beginning of the round. This is between the back piece and the left sleeve.
- Work 1 round in fret pattern, starting with 1 st row, *2 sts purl, 2 sts row*, repeat from * to * continuously and end with 1 st row.
- Divide the sts as follows and mark 2 sts each for the raglan line:
- 1 M raglan line
- 18 M purl sleeve
- 2 M raglan line
- 38 sts front
- 2 M raglan line
- 18 sts garter sleeve
- 2 M raglan line
- 38 sts back
- 1 M raglan line

Increases and Pattern Sequence
Work according to the pattern sequence (see table).
Simultaneously on both sides of the raglan line in every 2nd round. 22 (26) 30 x 1 M from the cross yarn and knit according to the pattern.
Always knit the 2 sts of the raglan line in the round. = 296 (328) 360 M.

- After 15 (17) 20 cm From stop set aside 64 (72) 80 sts each for the sleeves and continue over the sts of the front and back in rnds. = 168 (184) 200 M.

40 laps: | work according to knitting instructions, working pattern set 24 (26) 28 x in 1 round. For this, in the 1st round decrease 2 sts distributed for size 38/40 and 4 sts distributed for size 42 due to pattern. = 168 (182) 196 M. |

Stitch sleeves and knit body
- After 15 (17) 20 cm From stop set aside 64 (72) 80 sts each for the sleeves and continue over the sts of the front and back in rnds. = 168 (184) 200 M.
24 rounds: | *4 rnds: garter st, 4 rnds: plain st*. From * to * 3 x arb. = 24 rnds. |
40 laps: | work according to knitting instructions, working pattern set 24 (26) 28 x in 1 round. For this, in the 1st round decrease 2 sts distributed for size 38/40 and 4 sts distributed for size 42 due to pattern. = 168 (182) 196 M. |

6 rounds: | Waistband pattern |
- After 44 cm from the cast on, after completing the pattern sequence, cast off the sts in st rhythm.
Tip: The finished top has a length of 44 cm. If you want the top to be a little longer, repeat the pattern set more often than for 40 rows.
Knit sleeves
Short sleeves
The decommissioned per 64 (72) 80 sts of sleeves again to needle 4 and knit 6 more rows in the waistband pattern.
Long sleeves
For slightly longer sleeves, continue knitting according to the pattern sequence in the chart until you reach the desired length. For a body-hugging cut, decrease 1 st from the inside of the body in every 7th/5th/5th round.
For long sleeves knit 170 more rows = 40 (40) 46 sts.
Then end with 6 rows of waistband pattern.
Then cast off the stitches - finished!
