Diagonal rows - increases and decreases
- Row 1 (RS): selv st, sl1, k1, psso, k to last st, yo, k1.
- Row 2 (WS): selv st, k all sts to the end.
Tip for counting 6 rows: 3 knots on the edge are 6 rows.
Repeat the last two rows 15 more times. Your knitted piece should now measure approx. 120cm/47in on the short edge and approx. 150cm/60in on the long edge.
Knit decreases on both sides
Knit decreases on both sides. At the end, no more yo's are worked, but the 3rd and 2nd last sts are knitted together.
Repeat Row 1 and 2 until you have 5 sts left.
- Right side: selv st, sl1, k1, psso, k2tog (= 3 sts).
- Wrong side: selv st, k2.
- Bind off: selv st, k2tog, pass selv st over (= 2 sts).
Cut off the thread with 1m extra. Sew the loop together to form a round using a darning needle.
Wash, stretch, done.
