Our passion: addi knitting needles and crochet hooks
Our addi needles are high-quality knitting needles and crochet hooks "Made in Sauerland". We produce needles in Germany since 1829 – from the raw material to the finished product – in Germany, in our home town of Altena in the Sauerland region.
Each needle tip goes through around 20-30 production steps involving a great deal of manual labour and experience.

We have been living this concept since 1829. For us at addi, this means that we source most of our raw materials from our region if at all possible, with long-standing partnerships with our suppliers.
And supplier partners from other regions, for example for our bamboo or olive wood, are often known to us personally because we have visited them on site.
