Knitting the Tilda stole
Attention, chilly types! Whether worn with a festive dress, on the sofa or in the office, the Tilda stole complements almost any outfit, adds a touch of style and, of course, keeps you warm. A mindless project that can be knitted quickly and easily, letting your needles fly.
- 6x 50g BELLE by Lang Yarns (50g/190m) in 2x colors 09, 27, 29 held together with
- 6x ZEN by Lang Yarns (25g / 200m) in color 094 natural (Yarn category DK)
- addiMystic 3.5 mm/120cm (US 4/47")
- 2 stitch markers
- Darning needle, scissors
Gauge:
- Stockinette stitch: 23 sts x 34 rows = 10×10 cm (4x4") using 3.50 mm needles
Size
- Width x height: 150 cm x 51 cm (59" x 20")
Adjust the size: Correct the number of stitches when casting on +4 sts or -4 sts. The length of the stole can be adjusted as desired. Please note that you may need more or less yarn.
The beautiful color gradient of the stole is created by combining two yarns. Lang Yarns Zen (wool, alpaca, and silk) in cream white is combined with various harmonious colors of Lang Yarns Belle (viscose and cotton).
This creates a cozy scarf with a gentle color gradient.
Tip: You can try out different wrapping combinations to find the right color gradient combination.
