Are addi products made in Germany?
93% of the products are manufactured at the Altena site in Germany. addi is the only producer of a full range that manufactures in Germany or Europe.

Is there a factory outlet for addi products?
addi products are sold in specialist shops. Therefore, we unfortunately do not offer a factory sale for end consumers.
How is addi involved? What is addi doing in the area of sustainability?
As a family business in its sixth generation, we are aware of the need to use existing resources consciously and carefully. It is our responsibility towards future generations. To this end, we are constantly developing production and materials.

Cleaning and care
Ropes
Our ropes remain flexible and soft if you soak them in steam from time to time and pull them tight. Dry them well and they will be like new again.
Metal needles
Simply polish them lightly with a metal polishing cloth and they will become shiny and bright again.
Tip:
addiQuick
Please remove the needle from the addiQuick machine from time to time and clean the machine of any wool residue.
addiExpress
With the addiExpress, wool remnants can also collect between the individual machine components over time. If you feel that the machine is sticking, try blowing the remnants away with a compressed air bottle. If you have any additional questions, please contact us at addi@selter.com.
addi bamboo and wooden needles
Dull bamboo or wooden knitting needles become nice and smooth again with olive or coconut oil. Simply rub with a soft cloth.
Tip:
If the tips become dull over time, careful sanding can also help. Then oil the needles as described above to maintain the wood.
